Parking In Your Business

I’ve discovered that one of the greatest enemies to success is reaching a certain level and then parking. Success becomes stagnate when people park themselves and stay there instead of setting new goals and continuing to grow.

People park when they sit back and rest on past laurels; the mistake being that they allow over-confidence and past successes to cloud future rewards. This situation makes people lazy in their business dealings. Inevitably, they become board with their lives and fall victim to complacency.

When we understand the principles that make us happy and feel joy in our souls, then we can live a quality and satisfied life–whether we succeed or fail in the business ventures that we choose. We will all fail, at one point or another, before we learn what works. This is all part of maturing and growing emotionally and spiritually. However, what really matters is how we handle our failures and successes. This is what makes us who we are, and contributes to being satisfied with who we are! I am pleased with the person I have become. Can you say the same?
