A GOAL CAN TAKE YOU ANYWHERE

A life without purpose is like a ship without a rudder. Goals are dreams that are written down.

The purpose of a goal is to focus your attention. Your mind will reach toward achievement only when it has a goal.

There is no achievement without goals.

Establish a goal worth working for. Your goal will keep you going in tough times.

Always have something ahead of you. Continuously visualize your next step. Keep moving after you achieve your goal and set another. Momentum is maintained by always having something to look forward to. Constantly give yourself something to work for.

Do what you can do well, and do well whatever you can do and you’ll achieve any goal that you set for yourself.

You can plant your dream with a goal.

To Your Success,

Have you set goals for your business? Are they written down or just in your mind?

Vision, hope, dreams are all important facets to setting goals. But as the article above suggests, without writing down your goals you will not be able to stay focused. Those who succeed know this is true. Listen to them, and take the time to sit down today and write down your goals. How do you expect to reach your destination without a map? Without your goals written out and put in a place where you see them often, you will not know if you are on track or off base.

I will go into this topic in more detail at another time. However, you need to take your business seriously enough to set goals and write them down. Otherwise, you will be tossed about by changing tides and not know why you can’t succeed.

At the risk of some of you not reading this article because you think it is about politics instead of business, I urge you to still read on because it really does relate to how you do business. Consider how you would fulfill your dreams and the measure of your creation if government tied your hands and restrict your ability to live the way you prefer and pass laws that control your thinking.

There is a grassroots movement in America today that’s known as the TEA Party. This movement is about more than protesting high taxation (TEA=Taxed Enough Already) but has become a group effort to affect decisions in government.

The TEA Party’s efforts center around the need to protect what our forefathers died for and have sacrificed so much to give us. Please, I would really appreciate you joining my forum discussion at Stand Up Patriots to discuss the TEA Party Movement and how you feel about the way politicians and the media portray their efforts. Also, see http://MomsAndGrandmasUnited.com/

Why I Ask This Of You

First, understand that I’m not saying you cannot succeed and have your dreams fulfilled under a government other than we have now. I am saying that our dreams, goals, and plans we set in motions are based on the way of life that we currently enjoy. For these reasons, I need to talk with you for a moment about the TEA Party movement.

This grassroots movement is gaining momentum the past year and so they are drawing a lot of attention from the media and politicians. As a result, the group is now being demonized for having the audacity to stand up as patriots. Members speak out with courage against progressive liberals who are aggressively attempting to change the foundation of America.

This Is Not About Advancing Political Points of View

We are no longer talking about politics as usual, about the differences between party lines, or whose philosophy is right or wrong. We are talking about supporting a group effort to protect the American Constitution, protecting “checks and balances”, and keeping the three divisions of government separate, honest and healthy so we can live our dreams in a free commerce.

In addition, we are talking about protecting America from being subject to world laws, world religion, and one world currency. The grassroots movement that the TEA Party stands for is really a moral issue. It’s about our power to think the way we want and the right to speak out against government intervention in our businesses and in our lives.

The TEA Party movement frustrates Progressive liberal’s efforts to see their vision for American fulfilled. They have been trying to make this vision become reality for over forty years. As a result, their counter-move is to discredit TEA Party efforts by portraying them as racists, hateful, seditious, and violent. Of course, any one who attends TEA Party events will know these claims are FALSE.

I’m not racist, not violent, just not silent any more.  Are you?

Glenn Beck suggested that we put these words on the Internet and everywhere we can to let people know that what they’ve been hearing about TEA Party members is wrong. It is an OUTRIGHT LIE being used (by guess who) to manipulate support for the group.

The progressive left want to discredit this movement and our objection to what they want to do to America.

  • We DO NOT want Socialism in America. Our forefathers left that form of government behind them and established a Democratic Republic form of government–which gives sovereignty to states and representation of the people in government.
  • We DO NOT want an over-extended government that gets into our personal lives and business dealings. We believe in capitalism and free commerce.
  • We DO NOT want government making us dependent on them verses self-reliance. We believe in allowing communities and churches to care for those in need and limited government programs.
  • We DO NOT want government telling us how to think, deeming what speech is acceptable, and limiting our business dealings with ridiculous rules and regulations.
  • We DO NOT want government telling us how to run our families either and our personal finances.
  • We DO NOT want government telling us that we cannot voice our religious views in public because we might offend someone who believes differently.

Since the TEA Party is gaining so much momentum, those who oppose the movement feel a need to attack our work. It appears that they really think Americans are stupid enough to accept their vision for America and will not wake up to the truth until it is all over.

Well, we are awake now and we are not going to silently take it! The TEA Party movement irritates their progress and frustrate their goals. We must be vigilant at election time and replace every one of them that support the progressive liberal efforts to take down our present lifestyle in America. We must remove those from governing our affairs who want to replace free enterprise and the Constitution with “One World Order”.

How Will One World Order Affect Your Business Plans?

What does “One World Order” mean?

  • One World Religion-which means no religion
  • One World currency
  • One World government-which means some form of socialism-with all citizens regulated by one body of world government and world laws.

If you agree that this is not the type of wold in which you want to live, please join me in standing up as a true Patriot. Being a Patriot means you support what our forefathers died to give us, you support what our soldiers sacrificed and died for, and you support our men and women overseas who are in harms way to secure our way of life for us.

You Don’t Get Involved In Politics

If you are not paying attention to politics now, it means that you just don’t care about what government is doing or that don’t want to be pulled into politics. However, you had better start paying attention! Otherwise, you and the rest of us are about to lose all that makes this country great and that allows us to live the way we choose.

You are an irresponsible citizen when you do not participate in protecting our freedom and the blessings we enjoy by living in this country. You stand there in your private little world and say you don’t want to be bothered or get involved, and yet you enjoy the benefits and lifestyle that American citizens receive without any contributions to protect it. No, you just leave it up to us who will stand up for you and who will do it all for your benefit. That is just plain lazy on your part and it insults the rest of us.

If you agree with the progressive liberal movement, then I am sure you will soon find out the error in your thinking. It is the freedom in present America that allows you to think the way you do. Just wait until you are not allowed to think that way any more or to voice your opinions without fear of being put in prison. At that point, however, it will be too late!

Now Tell Me Where I Said Anything About Racism, Hate, and Violence! You didn’t hear me say a word because the TEA Party movement is about uniting people to protect freedom.

THE TEA PARTY DOES NOT CONDONE RACISM, HATE OR VIOLENCE. The truth is, those committing these infractions come from plants inside group gatherings to cause situations the media can report.

What Will Be Will Be

Posted by

I appreciate the message Doris Day sings in this video and have referred to this concept often.

It’s important to recognize that we can only do what we can do, and that we must allow what will be to naturally find it’s way through.

We cannot force things by strong-arming our way to have what we want. Self-will eventually spells trouble because it comes from ego, pride, and arrogance.

It is important to go after our dreams and do what we can every day towards attaining those dreams. However, we need to be patient enough to allow the process to take its natural course without force.

Forcing our “will” may create a reality that we do not want. Because we are not patient enough to wait, our dreams may not materialize as they should if we had allowed things to happen naturally.

The same applies to letting go of what we cannot change, “what will be will be”, and allow whatever “will be” find its own way without our interferrance.

We can make “what will be” a blessing if we allow it to be, or let it become gloom and doom if that’s how we want to see it.

We can only control ourselves and how we react to a situation. Being wise enough to recognize what we can do and do what we can allows us to be at peace with whatever happens.

Trying to control anything else is a waste of energy. Wishing for good things to happen will be fruitless when we try to control the events that are already set in motion and are surely on the horizon.

Accepting our role in a situation and contributing worthwhile ideas, along with directing our efforts in the right direction, is all we can do.

For example, I am concerned about the anger I see in America right now over politics. I see politicians using race as a way to stir up the people so they will go against those who disagree with their position.

In other words, what I see is manipulators trying to take advantage of the iniquities of racism by stirring up the hearts of people in order to obtain their objectives.

I am angry to see this evil ploy used to control the way people think. So, instead of reacting with the anger I feel, I think it is wiser to speak to people in the community about uniting as one nation by seeing through the ploy to divide them.

Focusing on what resources are available in communities that help our neighbors, along with the need to be supportive of people in stressful situations, actually unites people instead of dividing us.

Supporting each other and uniting together in our efforts produces better results than trying to deal with a situation by ourselves.

United in positive ways is much more affective than becoming part of the problem through negativity.

Protect your dreams by recognizing what you have the power to affect or change and let everything else be as it will.

Easter Season

Posted by

Easter is the season to remember our Savior died for us that we might live again and to take upon himself all of our sins and imperfections.

Easter is also the season that represents new birth and spring. . . with eggs, chicks, bunnies, and chocolate.

Live With Purpose

Live Your Life With Purpose

  • What does it mean to live your life with meaning and purpose?
  • What does it mean to have time and money to do the things you want to do, things that add value to your life?
  • What does it mean to take care of your family the best you can and still have time to do the things you want with them?

These questions reveal what living a life with purpose means to me. What does it mean to you?

A life with purpose has nothing to do with things acquired or how many people know our names. Living a quality life means how many people know us by our good works, the things we’ve done for our own family and others that make a difference in their lives. If we are to be well known, let it be for the good deeds we’ve done.

Collecting treasures that cannot be swept away in a disaster are the type of gems I want to put in my Life’s Treasure Box. These are gems like honesty, integrity, values, character, service, love of others, memories of time spent with family members, making friendships, peace of mind, and joy in the soul.

I want you to find life rewarding in whatever way it comes to you. I want you to find the good in your circumstances and find joy in whatever it is you have to bear. It’s not the trial that makes us who we are, it is the way we respond to it and the lessons we learn from it that makes up the character of who we are now. That’s why I have written books, to share my story and the lessons I learned with others who are going through the same type of trials.

I believe that God created us to need each other, to help each other, and to share our knowledge and skills with those who need what we can offer them in service. Living a life with purpose to me is doing these things and feeling the joy that comes when we see the value we have to others that we have helped. Self-worth is way more powerful than anything we gain from a job or that money can buy; money should not be worth more to you than healthy relationships.

I want you to live your life in remembrance of those you have helped, and to look for opportunities to bless others lives with your gifts and talents. I want you to be able to say when you meet your maker, “I am all used up. I’ve done all I can to serve those in need of  the talents you gave me.”

You may find that you agree with me and want the same things.  If you agree, you will likely appreciate the training that I provide on this site. On the other hand, if you see things from a different perspective, it does not mean that you are wrong it’s just that you disagree with me, and that’s fine.

We don’t always have to agree with each other. Sometimes we learn from each other through disagreement, as long as we are big enough to listen to another point of view. Even if we still disagree, at least we have come to an understanding of each other’s point of view…and that is worth a lot to me.
